This pet-friendly house sleeps up to 17 guests, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, making it a welcoming spot for a family vacation or a getaway with friends. Enjoy the oceanfront balcony view with your morning coffee, then spend the day on the sand before rinsing off in the outdoor shower. A covered porch with furniture offers another place to relax, while the charcoal grill is ready for casual cookouts. Inside, the 65-inch living room flatscreen and 40-inch master bedroom TV make downtime easy, and the master bedroom also has a Blu-ray player. With a detached downstairs area, dishwasher, and in-unit washer and dryer, Covington Cottage has room for everyone.

What an amazing week with family! This beach house took my back to cherish childhood memories and would definitely stay again! It was comfortable for the 8 of us! Night porch sitting was great! Appreciated the staff at agency.. very prompt to any questions and just a great experience.
Perfect old-fashioned family beach house. Spacious, clean, comfortable, beautifully equipped, and the ideal antidote to the ultra-shiny “Dirty Myrtle” condo culture. Our family had plenty of room to spread out, and we had a fantastic week just hanging out, reading books, playing games, watching movies—the WiFi was excellent. Also convenient to the beach, and we loved the quieter Cherry Grove neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again.
This is one of the loveliest cottages on the beach! The interior is charming and inviting, with spacious bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The upper-level bathrooms have been nicely updated within the past decade. The oceanfront porch is fantastic featuring both covered and uncovered areas perfect for relaxing or taking in the view. The lower level offers all the essentials nothing fancy, but very comfortable and ideal for guests who need their own space or prefer to avoid stairs. If you’re seeking a sleek, modern 21st-century rental, keep looking. If you want a budget-friendly, traditional beach house that’s full of character and love, you’ve found your perfect spot. Enjoy making memories here! Elliott Beach Rentals was responsive and professional, quickly handling a few minor maintenance requests and keeping us well informed about important details like trash and recycling pickup.
Overall the place looks nice but it definitely needs more maintenance.
We love the location and the coziness of the property.
Pictures don’t show how small this place really is. Ocean front property with absolutely no views of the ocean. Bottom floor room not connected gives feeling of seclusion or abandonment. Some people might want that but not a large family.
Quaint and cozy property. Older house and could use some upgrades but everything is safe and well maintained.
You can’t beat the view from the house. It was so nice to wake up and see the beach every morning.
We stayed at Covington Cottage in mid-April 2025. You can’t beat the view or the convenience to the ocean! The house is spacious, and the kitchen is fully stocked. Elliot rentals were very attentive about a leak we had in the garage and sent someone out quickly. I decided to just move the car and forgo repairs until our week was over. I would rent here again!

Let me start this by saying that 5 stars are like luxury. We have stayed at many houses up and down NMB and this is by far my favorite. However for the price, it was quite expensive, it could have been updated a little more. The TVs are extremely outdated (smart TVs with apps go a long way), and none of the remotes match the corresponding TV, However, the house was extremely clean the location was perfect. It was quiet and the beach was amazing. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I give Elliot itself 5 stars.
We loved our stay at Covington Cottage! The kitchen was very clean and well-stocked with cookware. We LOVED sitting outside on back deck with the lights. Such a great house right on the beach-very cozy and old-school beachy with all the knotty-pine walls.
Our stay at Covington cottage was pleasant. The house sits right on the beach. With beautiful views of the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cookware and dishes utensils etc. I don't know why this place don't have more reviews than it does. But halfway through my vacation I knew I was going to be leaving one. Very spacious beach house! We would go back!
The Covington Cottage was a great place to stay, convenient, great beach access and well represented.
The Covington Cottage was outstanding. The inside was well kept and provided all the amenities. Great location on the Beaxhfront with a large deck out back. We’re already booked for another couple weeks next year. Also, a shout out to Elliott Beach Rentals for their assistance after the Hurricane. Great folks to work with!
